CONDITIONAL REGISTRATION SCHEME

Information for Members

The Conditional Registration Scheme is managed by transport NSW. It allows for low-cost registration of vehicles that are 30 or more years old that require only limited road access. There are two types of Conditional Registration of relevance to the Club.

Historic Vehicle Scheme (HVS): This is for vehicles that are in near to original condition. Only limited modifications are allowed. The Mosman Historic Vehicle Club's Responsible Officer is authorised by Transport NSW to certify eligibility of vehicles for registration under this scheme. To be eligible the vehicle's owner must be a financial Member of the Club.

Classic Vehicle Scheme (CVS): This is for modified vehicles. Though its membership of the Council of Heritage Motor Clubs - NSW, the Mosman Historic Vehicle Club can facilitate registration of a vehicle under the CVS,

The Club's CRS Policy, available on the 'Downloads' page, is applicable in either of the above schemes. It sets out the requirements for registration under either scheme. It is important to note the requirement for financial Membership status.
